This is the correct opinion. And the game changer imo would be a presidential candidate making a push for this amendment part of their campaign. One Sentence in the Constitution Is Causing America Huge Problems nytimes.com/2025/08/21/opini… via @NYTOpinion

I have a hunch that this is the same type of voter that came out for Trump in 24 bc of inflation. I’d rather be the opposite of whoever is in power when it comes to these voters
No past primary now carries the largest share in the electorate.

I really do think the rise of gambling in politics is going to create some really awful and dangerous scenarios. You can find “analysis” on twitter to support any prior. Almost worse than AI’s confirmation delusion.
I don’t know who is going to win but if talarico does the crazies screaming about rigged voting are going to be supercharged from a crossover with gambling addicts and it’s going to end very badly.

Nooooo. This is how thousands of pages of discourse about new money vs old money signaling begins. Please no
I presume this puts an end to the Great Cheesecake Factory Moral Panic of 2026?

From conservative legal scholar @jacklgoldsmith, who ran the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel in the George W. Bush Administration: "I feel a bit silly making technical legal points when this matter..is so obviously a sham. It’s hard to fathom what the Attorney General tells himself as he grossly abuses the power of the Department of Justice at the behest of his Article II master." open.substack.com/pub/execut…

This is just good lawyering by Trump’s defense counsel. [touches earpiece] wait I’m being told that’s actually the Attorney General of the United States.
Much easier for the media to lock in on faux Cheesecake Factory outrage than a House Dem report indicating Todd Blanche basically told Ghislaine Maxwell "stop talking" when she was about to discuss a girl that could more closely tie Trump to Epstein

El-Sayed campaign statement: "This ad is not affiliated in any way with the Abdul for Senate campaign. Abdul is focused on pushing back against Trump’s agenda that is raising prices for Michiganders. No one speaks for Abdul but himself and his campaign." #MISEN
This type of fearmongering about Israel is wrong. It is not a winning strategy for any state. It does nothing to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot in eight days. Do we need to lower costs by building more homes, securing people’s health care, and creating a fairer federal tax code? Yes, we do!! How we do so is not by blaming the high costs of our goods on the only Jewish homeland in the world. I want to see Democrats succeed at every level, and that means keeping our focus on lowering costs for Michigan families and reining in this out-of-control President.

Yes I can just imagine the GOP rallying behind Bessent and his husband and the two kids they have from surrogacy. Maybe get Caitlyn Jenner as his running mate while you’re at it.
Imagine this guy as president. The GOP has one hell of a bench.

Left-NIMBYISM is much funnier. Yeah, i'm a socialist, except in the case of housing, where I believe in zealously protecting the rights of property owners to form a cartel at the expense of the poor. Let's build some parking lots in city centers for suburbanites to park in!
“Left-YIMBYism” is one of the funniest things I’ve seen people talk themselves into. Like yeah, I’m a socialist except in the case of housing where I believe in supply-side economics and deregulation. Let’s bulldoze some section 8 housing and sell it to developers

How many families demolished because of ‘paperwork issues’ and for what? How is this country anything but poorer for kicking this person out?
I’m not at liberty to share all the details, but suffice it to say that many people rejoicing over this have given a completely incorrect rendering of what occurred and why. ICE did not come to his home. This whole thing is a paperwork issue that they’re working to resolve. Samuel Sey is a good man. As you can imagine, his wife, who’s at home with their 3 babies, is devastated and also trusting the Lord to help them find a resolution quickly. Please pray for all of the Seys. Pray for wisdom and provision. Those celebrating because they don’t like something Sam said are slanderous backbiters and gossips. Pay them no mind

Worse, all the people whose awful analysis will get wiped away by landing on the winning side in many coin toss elections.
Yes, this election season sucks and we all want it to be over. But at least we can rest assured that next week a lot of people will have to acknowledge how wrong they were, recognize their strategic and policy mistakes and make changes to... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA No one will do that.

He realizes he’s lost women so now he’s doubling down on misogyny claiming acton is ‘crazy’ & ‘unstable’. He’s going to keep doubling down till he has like three voters left that would literally walk into a volcano for him
Q: "Do you regret the ad?" Vivek Ramaswamy: "We're standing for truth. Irony is they are lying about an ad that was about her lying. The fact of the matter is I am running against somebody who is crazy, unstable, and dishonest."

Why would legal threats (which they haven’t made yet actually) cause Simon and Schuster to ‘quietly expedite the release?’ They want to increase their liability exposure and risk having a recall? I don’t understand the logic of this premise
New: Amid legal threats from Jared Kushner over explosive allegations published in a Vanity Fair excerpt, Simon & Schuster quietly expedited the release of Matthew Cole’s Princes and Thieves, with the book now available for purchase two days early status.news/p/jared-kushner-…

Praying you learn something from this experience and remember it next time you report on a family broken up
There are two sides to this. Please wait for the other side before forming a conclusion

We spend over a trillion dollars a year on defense. Obviously we can take out their navy, Air Force, and anything else we can reach with bombs. We can also just nuke them, if this is what you consider strategy, you putz.
Because nothing says "stronger strategic position" like losing your navy and air force and having your vital shipping route blockaded and your economy in free fall.

What happened to s*ha*non w*tts? Years ago I remember her being a very outspoken gun control activists honestly advocating for her cause. Last few years it seems she’s dropped any pretense of the honest part.

It’s pretty funny coincidence that both candidates married into their money. This is a time tested way for men with political ambitions to have time to focus on them since the founding of the country. I’m Jealous tbh. nytimes.com/2026/10/25/us/po…
