This will be the sixth time we are ending Futurama. We have become exceedingly efficient at it.
The ‘FUTURAMA’ series has ended again. While there are no current plans for the series to return, 3 specials are still in development for Hulu. (Source: variety.com/2026/tv/news/mat…)

Hey @github, quick question, what the actual fuck is up with you lot lately? Actions shitting the bed daily, pull requests not working, pages failing to deploy... Idea: spend a less time sucking AI's dick, and just get the basics right Thanks

Thats what im saying. This is all self inflicted. Stop depending on unstable crap, and dot write unstable crap. People act as if the decay of software in an inevitable law of nature, when its just bad engineering built on bad culture. It needs to be challenged.

AI won’t wipe out white-collar jobs. Spend a day in a bureaucracy, and you’ll see why: 80% of the work is politics and busywork, 20% is actual work done by a few. Most folks are stuck filling out forms for a $350 web service, waiting weeks for a work plan approval, or taking mandatory carbon footprint training. (All real examples from my job.) I ran a small international research project. Months to sign the protocol, months to set up payments. Paying globally from a Canadian university? Nightmare. The project succeeded by dumb luck: one guy out of five did all the work for 20% of the budget. The rest? Poof, gone after getting paid. Progress hinges on a minority with agency. We never needed Joe to run security checks on HTML. But now Joe’s got the job, good luck firing him. At best, AI empowers the few who can dodge red tape to do more. That’s the short-term hope. Long-term predictions? Spare me unless you called ChatGPT in 2016 with receipts.

No matter your politics, repeatedly calling self driving cars just to light them on fire and the self driving car company continuing to send more self driving cars to the same area despite several of their own cars being actively ablaze there is very funny
