Not sure if the schematics are entirely correct. There are a few more photos in the N64brew discord; search for "gamester". Let me know if you need anything else!
In my last blog post I stated that "Programming your [N64] game on bare metal is pretty much out of the question." - in this video @rfleury explains that I just lacked the ambition. Great intro to the N64! youtube.com/watch?v=PuRHu6AN…

16 could work for a "cardboard" humanoid, but 8 would miss arms or legs, I think. 36 can look pretty "ok" already (from phoboslab.org/log/2021/09/q1…)

Xibalba 64 is finally here!
I'm very happy with how the game turned out! It looks amazing with the M64 on the living room TV, but of course is fully compatible with the original N64.
Failed experiment for the N64: runs with 60fps in emulator, but fails to hit 30 on real hardware. The N64 memory bus is a bitch.
Link to first part: youtube.com/watch?v=HSRuu1Cs… – well worth watching!
This guy on Youtube took the leaked wipEout source and made it run again. I know some of it is video magic, but man, it looks so much more effortless than to how I did it. I often feel that what I lack in expertise, I just make up in persistence...

Interesting that many people seem to prefer the texture filtered look. I mostly added the option as a gimmick, but I don't judge!
