My Bitcoin story is pure luck.
First I luckily worked my ass off to earn a high income.
Then I luckily spent all my free time learning about the history of money and distributed systems.
Then I luckily took all my money and invested it into bitcoin.
Then luckily I convinced my wife to live on 25% of our income while we put the rest into bitcoin.
Then I luckily didn’t go on vacation or buy nice things for years.
Then luckily everyone laughed at me / told me how wrong I was
Then I luckily sold my car and drove a shitty fucking moped to stack more sats.
Then I luckily suffered through multiple 80% drawdowns.
Then I luckily doubled down at the bottoms.
Then I luckily persisted for a decade.
Pure luck all of it.
Thank god I’m lucky.
If I wasn’t I’d be totally fucked.

E-cash schemes that do not include protection or mitigation for wallet theft at the protocol level assume them at the implementation level.

So, let’s get this straight. The Wall Street Journal, a company worth $5 billion with 3.5 million readers, says that #Bitcoin, an asset worth $575 billion and over 80 million users, is a ‘failed experiment’.
I guess sometimes stats don’t help a story.

@JNJNews Glad to see your stock is hitting all time high! I've had chest pain for the last 6 months after receiving your vaccine. I went from exercising 3x/week to barely able to walk. Rather than increasing your dividend can you spend some money looking into that? @joaquinduato

The most successful people I know:
- wake up at 6 am
- chug coffee til they shit
- think about working out but go on twitter instead
- doomscroll twitter for 18 hours a day
- forget to eat til they feel like shit
- read headlines only, don’t read articles

To help combat all the FUD around #Bitcoin energy usage and environmental impact, I've created a simple, first-stop explainer you can share with your friends and family:

these ppl are very lost by their nature.
i can understand creating a work-hobby out of something you love, but not something that you hate. to wake up every day and spend your time thinking about something you dislike. attaching your identity and income dependency on it.
