Is it just me, or is AI video now a niche thing? Maybe 5% of videos I see are AI. By now I thought it would be 50% or more.

I don’t even know why you would wanna be a founder if you don’t wanna be into technical details. That’s the only fun part 🤣

Here's the total Budget impact: tax as a % of GDP.
But it's missing vital context - the tax we already pay. Here's how to fix it:
1. Print the chart out on a piece of landscape A4
2. Draw a new bar, 20 metres high (twice the size of a house).
That's total tax as a % of GDP

Nope. Starlink broke the business model by showing scalable profitable space based assets are possible.
Finance kicks in now. A competent launch company has to now assess the price of a launch slot and compare it to the present value of the expected earnings of their own internal payloads (likely orbital compute).
The present value is significantly larger than the current price, so either the launch company focuses on internal payloads or massively increases the cost of a launch slot so that it compensates the opportunity cost of not launching the internal one. The board literally has a fiduciary duty to do this calculation and follow the results.
But this is launch provider agnostic, so even if a new provider enters the market, finance says it'll end up doing the same as everyone else. Which is why if you have a significant amount to get on orbit, you're going to need your own launch capability, at least until the value of orbital payload earning potential comes right down.
It doesn't depend on launch availability or cost so long as there is a scalable payload that is more valuable than the launch slot price, which based on current rates doesn't seem like it will be anywhere close to our lifetime

One of the hardest (& most important) mfg problems to solve is PCBs.
CircuitHub is making them FAST, with robots, and in America.
It was an honor to produce this video to show off their Grid system!
PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen.
Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand.
No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.

Boost your Altium Designer efficiency by 50% with these 10 hidden gems ⚡
As PCB designers, we all know the feeling: hours lost navigating menus and repeating manual steps. The real productivity leap doesn’t come from clicking faster — it comes from knowing the right shortcuts.
After years of refining my workflow, here are 10 Altium hacks that made the biggest difference:
Find Similar Objects (FSO) – Right‑click → Find Similar → batch‑edit 100 components in seconds.
Smart Alignment – Use A shortcuts (AL, AT, AD) to snap components into place instantly.
Single Layer Mode (Shift+S) – Eliminate visual clutter and focus only on the layer you’re working on.
Routing Modes (Shift+R) – Switch between Push and Walkaround mid‑trace without restarting.
Quick Via / Layer Switch – Use + / - on the numpad while routing to auto‑place vias.
Length Tuning (TR) – Create accordion traces like a pro; hit Tab to tweak settings on the fly.
3D Navigation – 3 to enter 3D view, Shift+Right‑click to rotate, 0 to reset.
Mirroring (X / Y) – Flip components instantly while dragging.
Selection Filter – Lock onto Polygons or Text so you only grab what you need.
Paste Special (E+A) – Duplicate complex layouts while preserving net connectivity.
Which of these do you already use — and what’s your #1 Altium time‑saver? Let me know in the comments 👇

This is the key chart. We target territorial emissions. Down 40% since 1990. Great.
But what actually matters for the climate is our consumption emissions. They take account of carbon "embedded" in imports. Down by only 25%. Much less impressive, much less to shout about.
Provisional UK greenhouse gas emissions on a residence basis were an estimated 473 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (Mt CO2e) in 2025.
This was 1.0% down from 2024, and 42.4% below 1990 levels.

Today we’re announcing a $600M Series C, co-led by @CapitalG and @emergencecap, to bring fully autonomous machines to more job sites across the U.S.
We want autonomous equipment to become beautifully unremarkable, as ordinary on a job site as GPS or grade control.

With CurieOS, it can take two to three days, with every calculation recorded so it can be checked by our engineers.

Two people, same skills, same hours.
One checks messages every ten minutes. The other works in long, uninterrupted blocks.
A year later, they're not even close.
Deep work compounds. Distraction does too.

Your pension is now an AI fund, whether you signed up for it or not.
US public pensions have roughly doubled their stake in AI-linked stocks since 2022, to about 27% of equity holdings. That bet added $138 billion in paper gains. Nvidia alone added $38 billion across the 13 largest funds.
Funding levels look healthy at 84% because of it. The risk is obvious. If the AI trade cracks, it does not just hit traders. It hits the retirement checks of teachers, firefighters and cops.

new component placement skill in Backplane led to us fooling ~30% of commenters vs. ~5% on this test.
GPT models perform much better than Claude models for component placement, FYI.

We always us SGLang for agentic workloads because of the shared radix tree (prefix tree). It allows agents to “share the KV Cache”.
SGLang just adopted a few of the kernels from the new DeepInfer (Deepseeks inference engine) for an even more powerful set of tools.
- The fused many of the GPU actions into Mega kernels for optimization
- The prefix cache is cheaper because of the relay
The results are pretty good (these matter at scale with 1000s of agents running multiple workloads).

Don't expect AWS, GCP and Azure to acquire neo-clouds.
Private equity will acquire them, working hand in hand with Nvidia.
Can easily see Blackstone investing in Coreweave if its stock continues to decline.
PE will essentially fund the 2 year gap between breaking ground on a new datacenter and that site generating real cash flow.
PE's goal is to buy neo-clouds at $5, $10, $15 billon and IPO them at $25, $50, $100 billion.

We'll be publishing straight after the Budget. But here's a preview - I'd love to get feedback.
