- Net zero migration - Ultra high quality migration, top graduates of the best universities in the world only - Re-industrialisation through robotics, AI and Nuclear energy - Increasing the birthrates through the same policies Israel and Mongolia have used plus some other policies that have proven to be successful - Building goddamn houses (minimum 3 bedrooms so people have space for kids) - Maybe build a new city too - Expand Medicare, focusing on prevention rather than cure + making physical education and fitness mandatory to graduate high school Idk that's just what I thought of off the top of my head I think this can be achieved democratically. A confident long term vision that brings in policies from both the left and right and no radical garbage

They do this because they love you
Stolen from IG, but I want you to notice something about this child. Basically all the movements and positions are still in contact with dad. I’ve said before that I don’t believe children are bed hogs, they just unconsciously take comfort in the close contact with their parent.

One more amazing thing about Brazil and Lula's campaign: The NYT today has a gushing profile of a Congressman named @AndreJanonesMG, who became the face of Lula's campaign, its chief communication strategist. and -- as a result of admittedly innovative though extremely creepy digital strategies -- the greatest hero of the Brazilian left. But listen to what the article doesn't mention: Just 2 years ago -- not 20 years ago or 10 years ago, but 2 years ago -- Janones got caught committing one of the most despicable crimes imaginable: he forced his Congressional staff employees to transfer a portion of their (quite low) monthly public salary to him as a condition for keeping their jobs. The money he stole from his workers didn't go to his campaign: it just went to enrich himself, into his pocket,. He got caught when the employees secretly taped him angrily telling them they should stop complaining. When all this emerged, the left-wing members of Congress loyal to Lula -- who, remember, claims to lead a movement of workers! The name of Lula's party is the Workers Party -- protected him from all consequences from stealing the salary of his workers. The pro-Lula judiciary let Janones confess guilt and simply pay back the money that he stole. And yet this doesn't bother anyone on the Brazilian left. Janones has become a beloved figure overnight among left-wing celebrities and is now one of Lula's closest allies. The NYT profile doesn't even mention this in their gushing profile. In the scheme of Brazil's authoritarianism, it's not the biggest issue, but to me it's one of the most revealing about what frauds these people are:

I actually have more in common with an Australian billionaire than someone of the same income level as me from another country
This is every single attempt by left wingers to get you to focus on “da class war” while actively trying to dispossess you of your nation, history and culture.

Fun fact, the cure for needing glasses is being Australian
Absolutely nuking my eyesight with screens and lack of sunlight over the last 20 years was probably a bad idea, but I am hoping LASIK technology will only improve with time otherwise its gonna be coke bottles for me

Anyone who describes Australia as "stolen land" is obviously not working in our best interests

Do you think leftist attitudes towards immigration would change if you described it as "brutally draining the third world for any crumb of talent"?

Many Lula supporters say they want Brazil to adopt China's economic model. To achieve that, Brazil would need to cut social spending and pensions by 50% and cut government spending by 30%. It would need someone much more right-wing than Bolsonaro on economics.
Many working class Trump supporters are fine with the US being poorer in return for 'America First'. In 2025, it was tariffs induced CPI and stock market crash. In 2026, Iran war induced fuel price surge. Many Lula supporters share the same ethos. They value geopolitical sovereignty and don't want to be an 'American colony'. They are fine with being nominally 'poorer'. In this sense, both blue collar Trump supporter and Lula value national dignity more than 'GDP per capita'. What the MAGA interviewer does here is similar to what zionist media in the US do to blue collar MAGA voters - select the most bad optics character to discredit the movement. But notice the Lula supporter at 15:35 - he was trying to explain to the interviewer that he rejects liberalism and wants to try Chinese style state capitalism, not soviet style Communism. The interviewer was only interested in getting the 'so you support Communism?' soundbite. Besides, I don't think he understands what state capitalism is anyway. My personal opinion if I was Brazilian? I would support Bolsonaro on most issues but Lula geopolitically.

You could solve homelessness and hunger in one fell swoop by just letting the homeless people eat each other

Can a great man have this sort of attitude towards women, in your opinion?
Read like half an hours worth of actual history on Mao Zedong (not written by a conservative/yank), and you’ll probably realise he is one of the greatest humans to have ever lived by the end of the night.

If you don't understand something about the world, you have to update your worldview
How are there right wing women genuinely

It's not really a matter of opinion
Very funny dissonance between the ambient western media portrayal of Mao as a “dictator” and the undeniable fact that among more than 1 billion actual Chinese people that is an extremely fringe opinion
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
It is illegal to "mock" figures such as Mao in China, making it an unlikely position for the average Chinese citizen to hold. nytimes.com/2021/11/02/wor… cecc.gov/freedom-of-exp…

Was talking to my father recently and apparently his grandfather left home in England at 15 years old to come to Australia on his own. And we can't trust a 14 year old to look after their siblings in a regular house stocked with all necessary amenities?
Yeah, sorry free range parenting people. You can leave a 14 year old home alone with three younger kids when you, like, go to a movie. Not when you *leave the freaking state*.

Whatever you think of religion, I think Christianity is the most historically plausible
This Friday, I’ll be giving a talk on the historical case for the resurrection of Christ. Several years ago, I began looking into the historical evidence as an atheist to prove that Christianity was nothing but a therapeutic superstition. What I found completely changed my life. Over the course of a year, I spent nearly every waking moment reading whatever I could find on the subject. My entire life was suddenly reorganized around answering this one question: did Jesus Christ actually rise from the dead? There was a time when I thought this question was too ridiculous to even consider. But looking back, it was by far the most important question I've ever asked. If you're interested in learning more, check out the link to the event page below. All are welcome to join regardless of religious background or lack thereof.

Actually, in this case, Labor did a great public service for the general well-being of the whole country
Wonder how Labor members and unions feel about 1.3 million dollars of their dues being swallowed up to defeat evil Greens housing man because he annoyed Albo

The outback has done this five times in the last eighteen months. Hyper Australia is inevitable.
It's hard to express how bullish I am on Australia. I just feel so good about it. There are dark clouds on the horizon, but right now it's making big progress on all the intractable problems that most Western countries can't take on.

The justification continuously seems to be that they're the "least bad" option
I’m genuinely interested in who is saying they’re still going to be voting for @AlboMP and @AustralianLabor. Are they living in a parallel universe or have they just overdosed on hallucinogenics.
