“An essay is something you write to try to figure something out. Figure out what? You don’t know yet.” Maybe this is why folks have such negative reactions to the LLMification of Substack. If you are using AI to communicate a straightforward idea, that’s fine, but you can’t consider yourself an essayist. You are not in the business of exploration, of doing the work to figure something out.

the premise of crypto is self-sovereignty. you should be able to control your money. you should be able to control your body.
if you’re anti trans, you’re against the basic values of this industry
says the guy who gets high and crashes out on live streams, has said the n word multiple times and rage baits for a living. your desperate need for attention is the real cry for help. healthcare sucks in the US, but go to therapy or do us all a favour and just shut the fuck up.
