hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said regarding pokimane. when she was first caught saying the N-word on stream and in old clips, it seems people forgot that the specific videos shown were of her freely dropping it multiple times in the same clip, casually, like it was nothing. i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated as a black person, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong and harmful. i appreciate that she deleted the clips and issued some half-apology years later saying it was "just how people talked" or a replacement for "dude" and that she was young, but i've had to carry the weight of that racial trauma, the microaggressions, and the invalidation of black pain for over a decade. regardless, no amount of time, "growth," or distance undoes the harm that was done to the black community. i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened, and the ways in which it's still affecting me and other black folks today 13 years later. as she's become more involved in events and with people close to me in the community, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the black people affected about how it makes us feel when we see her thriving without real accountability or any meaningful repair. other people forgiving her is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well. one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these and who gets to harm the black community without consequence, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. (poki ✨💕 used to scream "NIGGER!" live on stream, often). hope this clarifies things!
hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday. 1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me. i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong. 2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened. 3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today. as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well. one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!

This man left Anthropic to play WoW Forever. Fking legend.
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined. I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top. The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever. My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply. To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had. For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new. If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

Fake & Gay! Moussa Diawara, the Malian national featured in this shockingly poorly researched @60Minutes report, now faces allegations of immigration FRAUD after his asylum application surfaced, revealing that he claimed to be a HOMOSEXUAL man who feared persecution in Mali. Read more ⬇️
🚨 #FOXEXCLUSIVE: 60 Minutes featured a deported Malian national whose wife and two children spoke about how much they miss him and want him home. But we exclusively obtained Moussa Diawara’s asylum application, where he said he was seeking asylum in the U.S. because he was gay and feared being killed if sent back. Now, DHS is pointing to his case as an example of alleged immigration fraud. In his own words, Diawara wrote: “Although I was born as a boy, but things appeared differently for me as I was already having female behaviors and feelings.” “I was more comfortable being intimate with boys rather than with girls.” And describing his life after arriving in the United States: “Since I came to the USA I had the possibilities to express my feelings to men without any embarrassment no reserve.” Read the asylum application for yourself:

Trump platforms a Black woman, gives her the recognition she’s earned, tells the world how great she is, invites her to the White House, puts her on stages, has her hosting shows, flies her on Air Force One, and makes sure she knows she’s appreciated and CELEBRATED, NOT TOLERATED. And the Black community turns around and tears her down simply because her politics don’t fit the script. She dares to stand on what she believes in instead of blindly repeating what she’s told to say. Did y’all treat Beyoncé and Taylor Swift like this for backing Kamala? Must’ve missed that. Nicki Minaj feels PROTECTED now. Something she clearly didn’t feel from the other party. Where were all of you when her home was swatted with her newborn inside and she begged Newsom for help? NOWHERE. YOU DIDN’T SAY SHIT. Worry about your own lives and stop obsessing over tearing down a woman you never cared enough to protect in the first place.
