Seeing as Trump was the guy who tried to incite the violent overthrow of the constitutional order, and the Democrats have never tried to do that, it's a fair answer based in the record of both parties

Clay I think you should do the right thing and pay. You made a bet. You were wrong. Conservatives are supposed to be the personal responsibility people, right? It's time to take ownership.
Hey, little guy, thanks for continuing to prove that no Democrat men understand how betting works. Someone has to accept a bet — thereby risking something themselves — in order for a bet to exist. Hope this helps.

Democrats raised hell until Platner withdrew himself from the race. He’s not on the ticket in Maine. Republicans are still supporting Paxton’s corrupt ass and could elect him as a US Senator on Tuesday. There’s a BIG difference between the two.
Democrats who cheered for Graham Platner will look you dead in the eye and shame you for voting for Paxton because he's "corrupt." They're ruthless pragmatists when it comes to winning elections and Republicans are not on their level.

Haley is my Congresswoman. I’m a Precinct Delegate in her district. I’ve campaigned for her (for Congress, not Senate) I cannot express the anger Dems in this district are feeling. But the reaction? Screw her. I’m hearing more motivation to vote and among my fellow activists the desire to work even harder in the next 48 hours to elect @AbdulElSayed
Like I said in the video, I never liked that lady but was never disrespectful to her or her supporters. I wish the same respect was given to me and Kenny. Go Abdul! Win and win big…fuck these people.

Then Trump was impeached, but Mitch McConnell lacked the fortitude to vote his conscience, leaving it to criminal prosecution to do the dirty work, and the Supreme Court instead manufactured immunity despite there being no basis in the Constitution.
The system was attacked in 2020, but the system held. The courts, the governors, the state-level election officials and Congress all played the roles they were designed to play.

I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. We’ve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, I’ve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. 👇 Haley’s endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because he’s a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. He’s shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. I’m shocked by Haley’s endorsement. I’m terribly sad and disappointed. I’m furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley won’t just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

yes quite literally you’re out if you endorse a fucking republican in a pivotal senate race.
So basically the tent is big enough for Hasan Piker, but not Haley Stevens.

She was falling 27,000 feet in a minute in an iced-up jet. In about 35 seconds she declared a mayday, gave her tail number, descent rate, overspeed and a 60-degree bank. That's the job. Then she died with eight other people, and you're grading her tone. Fuck you.
A pilot should not: 🔘become hysterical 🔘speak too quickly to be intelligible 🔘say, "We're going to crash into the ground!" 🔘scream like a little girl 🔘hyperventilate 🔘scream like a little girl again A pilot needs a certain disposition. This is not it. That's the reality.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Having a front row seat to your own demise is an emotionally distressing experience and pilots have been known to scream in such situations. Western Airlines Flight 2605 being one such example. m.youtube.com/watch?v=FKLE_n…

The single, overriding question of our politics is whether Democrats will shatter our constitutional order in 2029-30. All other questions are secondary.

here's the entirety of the seeming mental breakdown Haley Stevens just had on CNN. One of the most bizarre and incoherent political interviews I can recall. Note how she's completely unable to explain why she changed her mind from supporting Abdul El-Sayed last night to endorsing Mike Rogers today.

I know this is a complex concept, so let me try to explain this in great detail: political parties exist to elect members of that specific political party, not people from the opposing party. I know, it’s hard to follow.
This sounds downright Stalinist — from the Michigan Democratic Party chairman:

There’s nothing “gutsy” about endorsing someone you told everyone you were working to defeat up to just a day ago. Nothing about either candidate has changed. El-Sayed is not worse—and Rogers is not better—than a week ago, a month ago, or a year ago. It’s either a long con, an intemperate decision, or a disconnect from reality.
Haley Stevens made the gutsiest move I’ve seen in my political life today. Nothing but respect.
