Waiting to be back in Nagpur :)
#WATCH | Nagpur | On RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's address at RSS Centenary Vijayadashami Utsav, Consul General of Israel in Mumbai, Yaniv Revach, says, "I am very excited to be here... I met Dr. Mohan ji yesterday, and we had a conversation. We understand that both countries, India and Israel, not only share the same values, but we also share, unfortunately, the same challenges. When I listened to his speech today. Dr. Mohan ji mentioned that we should continue to work with the young generation... we should also look at the future — technology, education — and also connect them to the heritage — future and past at the same time. It's exactly the same thing that we do in Israel. We should work together to see how we can actually strengthen the ties between Israel and India, not only at the govt level but also people-to-people."
He adds, "Dr. Mohan ji also mentioned in his speech today something very important: if we don't keep our identity and our values, we see exactly what's happening now in Europe when other external forces are trying to destabilize. Not only in Europe, but also we see it in India and Israel. We need to continue to work and strengthen our identity in order to make sure that those extreme left Marxist forces won't try to destabilize our values... we see what's happening in Europe when you are too progressive. At the end of the day, if we don't keep our roots, heritage, and culture, we will lose our identity, and we see exactly what that leads to."
On Mohan Bhagwat's statement regarding Captain Smit Machchhar, he says, "...We see that Captain Smith grew up here in India and according to the values and morals here in India, and this is one of the reasons that he saved so many people during this flight."

It was a pleasure to meet Nagpur Police Commissioner, Hon. Mr. Vishwas Nangre Patil, a distinguished IPS officer known for his courage and dedication to public service. Most importantly he is so humble!
I was deeply moved to hear about his bravery during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. His courage and commitment to protecting lives is truly inspiring.
We had a wonderful conversation over dinner where he shared memories of his experiences over the last 17 years. I look forward to more such meaningful interactions.

Pleased to have met the honourable Sarsanghchalak @DrMohanBhagwat ji at the 101st Vijayadashami celebrations organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Nagpur🚩
We exchanged views on the strong and cordial relations between the brotherly nations of Israel and Bharat. The discussion also revolved around the need to bolster ties at the institutional level while ensuring the growth of people-to-people interactions.
I presented a memento to him commemorating the partnership between our ancient civilisations.
Our nations share common challenges like misinformation, hostile narratives and extremism. In the face of these obstacles, we must stand strong, remain rooted in culture, history and traditions and tell our own stories to the world 🇮🇳🇮🇱

It was a privilege to be invited by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a guest at their annual Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur. The occasion was special since the RSS turned 101, concluding its centenary year.
Pujya Sarsangchalak, @DrMohanBhagwat ji spoke of being rooted in national identity. His address also touched upon the bravery of Captain Smit Machchar, a true hero for both Israel and Bharat. A line from the RSS prarthana which stuck with me was
“ परं वैभवं नेतुमेतत् स्वराष्ट्रम्
समर्था भवत्वाशिषा ते भृशम्॥”
"May we be fully capable, by your blessings, of leading this, our own nation, to the highest pinnacle of glory and prosperity.”
The contribution of the RSS in enhancing Bharat's massive progress is incomparable, both pre and post independence. This is why I have no doubt that Bharat will reach ‘Param Vaibhav’!
Glad to have been in the presence of @cbawankule ji @Dev_Fadnavis ji @nitin_gadkari ji and the former Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar ji. I look forward to working towards the strengthening of this treasured partnership between our two great nations.
