Devin Vassell ranks 2nd in the NBA in long mid-range FG% this season at 51.2%, trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
That puts him ahead of KD, Luka, and Jalen Brunson - elite company for a player some Spurs fans still don't appreciate.
🎯 Fun fact: Vassell is the only Spur in the last decade to shoot over 50% from long mid-range while averaging at least 6 attempts per game from that area. Efficient, reliable, and still getting better.

Morgan Freeman on black history month
This clip comes from a 2005 interview on 60 Minutes, where he spoke with Mike Wallace.
In this exchange, he called the month “ridiculous” and famously stated, “I don't want a Black History Month. Black history is American history”.
Earlier in his career, he expressed similar sentiments about the “ghettoization” of Black history and his preference for the term “Black” over “African American”.
In 2024 he reiterated his frustration, specifically criticizing the fact that Black history is relegated to February, the shortest month of the year. He remarked, “This whole idea makes my teeth itch”.
