It's amazing how Elon can help promote other sectors.
Today we're excited to announce we have upgraded our 4th launch with our partners at @SpaceX to a dedicated mission, launching in 2028. Given increased customer demand --in particular from the sovereign and air-gapped network verticals-- we decided to increase the number of satellites we're launching to 6. This is the entire production run of our spacecraft Block 4. Sovereign satellites, and specifically sovereign satellites in geosynchronous orbit, allow a country or enterprise to have their own dedicated comms satellite with a purpose built network deployed around it. In this new world of cyber threats and super-intelligent agents in the hands of malicious actors, we're seeing more and more the desire to pull infrastructure off the public internet entirely with dedicated networks. It's the most effective way to shrink the attack surface. And it's where the world is headed. As a result we've seen huge increase in demand for satellites that our customers can control and lock-down from a cybersecurity perspective. Something uniquely possible on a nation-state scale with a geosynchronous satellite. We are pumped about this launch. And the best part? We’re going straight to 22,000 miles up, with a direct-inject to GEO using an Impulse Helios upper stage. We are now seeing an insane amount of commercial and US government demand, and we’re only just getting started.

Adding "Air-gapped network verticals" to my vocabulary.

"Fiber doesn't matter" they say. Welp...
Charter has asked a Texas court to toss AT&T's 'fiber-powered' lawsuit – a fight that could decide how Charter and other cable operators weave 'fiber' into their broadband marketing. Read more on Light Reading: bit.ly/4zY4ThC

The team also made progress at LC-36B yesterday. Roughly 450 truckloads of concrete, lined up bumper-to-bumper and stretching nearly 3 miles up the coast, supported a 4,500-cubic-yard pour for the pile caps. Three more placements to go for a total of 15,000 cubic yards. This is the foundation for our New Glenn 9x4 pad.

Wall Street is now running tabletop exercises for an AI "day after." That tells you two things. The banks think the AI buildout is big enough to move the whole economy, and they have no idea which direction. Planning for failure is how you earn the right to bet on success. axios.com/2026/10/23/ai-cata…

Starlink in Ukraine is the clearest case yet that satellite connectivity is now a geopolitical lever, not just a product. Washington says access is restored, Kyiv says it keeps dropping. Every telecom operator should be studying this. washingtonpost.com/world/202…

You're right, @elonmusk. Someone has grown very rich off money flowing from Ukraine. I work in Starlink supply to Ukraine, so I see these numbers firsthand. Ukrainians bought 117,000 terminals in September alone (~$42M), plus monthly subscriptions for each one. And that's just official commercial imports. Not counting government contracts, donor-funded deliveries, direct orders from your website or grey imports. No laundry machines needed. It goes straight to SpaceX.
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.
