Watching this video closely, it is heartbreaking to witness a soldier from the Rwandan Defence Force (@RwandaMoD ), operating alongside #M23 in the DRC, beating Congolese civilians, mocking and humiliating them before ultimately shooting them dead. This bears a striking resemblance to the way the @rpfinkotanyi allegedly murdered Sgt. Robert Kabera in Uganda, beheaded him, and mutilated other parts of his body.

Tomorrow, November 6, Tanzania’s High Court is expected to deliver its judgment in the treason case against @TunduALissu A man who represents democracy, courage and hope now faces a moment that could determine his freedom. The world must not look away.
Tundu Lissu is more than a political leader. He is a father, husband, brother, friend, lawyer and the hope of millions yearning for democracy, justice and the rule of law. He survived being shot in 2017, endured imprisonment and persecution, yet never abandoned his fight for a democratic Tanzania.
His prosecution has raised serious international concerns. The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention called for his immediate release. Political disagreement, calls for electoral reform and peaceful opposition must NEVER be treated as crimes deserving persecution.
And now, the unimaginable pain of a family already carrying so much. Tundu’s beloved elder brother, Advocate Alute Mughwai Lissu, a respected veteran lawyer and family spokesperson, passed away on November 1. Tundu is imprisoned, unable to give his brother a final goodbye or attend to him in his final moments. His family is preparing to bury him while Tundu faces judgment.
HOW MUCH SUFFERING CAN ONE FAMILY ENDURE?
Tanzania is still grieving the October 2025 killings. Families lost loved ones, many continue demanding accountability, answers and justice. Enforced disappearances continue, killings and concealment of bodies remain deeply troubling. No family should be denied truth, justice or the dignity of burying their loved ones.

Dans une vidéo publiée par les Wazalendo opérant dans les hauts plateaux du territoire de Fizi, un jeune Rwandais, fatigué et blessé par balle à la jambe, témoigne de son parcours. Il affirme qu’au moment de son engagement dans la RDF, il ne savait pas que cela le conduirait à combattre sur le territoire congolais.
Étudiant en sciences infirmières, il nourrissait le rêve de devenir médecin. Mais son parcours a pris une tournure dramatique : il s’est retrouvé capturé par les Wazalendo dans les hauts plateaux de Fizi.
Visiblement éprouvé par cette situation, le jeune homme semble profondément déçu de ce qu’est devenue sa vie.
À ce rythme, l’avenir de la jeunesse rwandaise dans cette guerre s'annonce particulièrement sombre.

U.S. President Donald Trump has written to his Rwandan counterpart, @PaulKagame , giving 60 days’ notice of his intention to terminate Rwanda’s AGOA beneficiary status from January 1, 2027. The letter cites concerns over democratic governance, human rights, the rule of law, political freedoms and barriers to U.S. trade and investment. It also accuses Rwanda of supporting M23, deploying troops in eastern DRC and facilitating illicit mineral trafficking, warning that these actions threaten regional stability and U.S. interests in Africa.
