The IDF strongly condemns the severe act of violence that took place in the area of Taybeh, during which diplomatic representatives were attacked by Israeli rioters.
Police forces and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are entering the area accompanied by IDF soldiers and will begin collecting findings and evidence, as well as taking testimonies, in support of an investigation that has been opened.
The consulate's visit was not coordinated with the IDF. Such coordination is important to prevent incidents of this kind.
According to a preliminary inquiry, no IDF soldiers were present at the scene at the time of the attack. The report was sent to the brigade operations room, which is designated to receive reports from security personnel only, and not from civilians. The operations room receives dozens of operational reports each day and responds only to authorized personnel, not civilians. It should be emphasized that other designated channels are available for civilians to submit complaints. All circumstances surrounding the incident will be examined.

It's astonishing how quickly US public opinion has moved against Netanyahu's Israel, with a 51 percent majority calling Gaza a genocide. Eisenkot's election would probably help at the margin, but I'm not sure how much.

חברות תעופה זרות אינן מורשות לנחות בישראל מבלי שהעבירו מראש את רשימות אנשי הצוות המלאות. מידע שמועבר דרך המלא"ן (המרכז הלאומי לאבחון נתוני נוסעים). אחראים לזה הם רשות התעופה האזרחית, שבודקים את הרישיונות של החברה, המטוסים ואנשי הצוות. כבר שם הייתה אמורה לעלות נורה אדומה לגבי הטייס הזה.
בנוסף משרד התחבורה זה הגוף האמון על הרצת שמות אנשי הצוות במערכות ייעודיות לצורך בדיקה כמו גם קביעת הכללים לחברות הזרות של מה מותר ומה אסור. הגוף שאחראי על זה בפועל הוא מנהל הביטחון במשרד התחבורה. גם כאן, העובדה שהטייס הודח מטיסה בעומאן, מחברת התעופה של מרוקו, היה בסוריה ומה כתב ברשתות היה אמור להדליק עוד נורה, יותר נכון זרקור.

We are now starting to see the repercussions of the revelations that Netanyahu knew about intelligence of a pending Hamas attack weeks before Oct 7 but chose not only to do nothing, but also not to share the intel with Israeli intelligence services.
Now, the father of one of the Israelis killed at the NOVA Festival accuses one of Netanyahu's ministers - Miri Regev - of rescuing her own daughter at 4.45am on Oct 7 while leaving everyone else there to die.
The official story is that Netanyahu didn't know about the attack until 6:29 that morning. Yet one of his ministers pulled her daughter out of the festival at 4.45am...
