Something is up with the weather computer modeling. It has not been good. Things were supposed to get better fast with the integration of AI, but that has not been the case over the last few years. And I'm not talking just one model or just the long-range modeling...all of it! Now this might be my perception only. Someone way smarter than me can actually 'run the numbers'. 😁 Even the model that I think has been the 'best' over the last year (Canadian GDPS), did not handle the Nor'Easter very well. It's time to go back to old school, gut feeling forecasting over the winter... ❄️🚂

Hi Mike, up here in Stamford i received an astonishing amount of rain in about a 2 hour period, from about 11:30AM to 1:30 pm, frequent lightning, at times, but no wind gusts. Rain amount as of 1:45 pm, 4.20 to 4.30”. Never had that much in 2 hrs.!
