🚨 WOW: A Somali-Dutch couple in the UK just showed off their TEN kids on camera. A non-working household that size can pull TENS OF THOUSANDS a year in benefits. Working or disabled? Up toward $70K PLUS housing. Native Brits have one or two. Import families have ten. You don’t need a conspiracy theory. You need a calculator.
Muslim woman immigrated to the UK with her husband who’s from Somalia They have 10 kids. This is how native populations get replaced, by importing foreigners who outbreed you If you’re curious to how much a family can receive in benefits with 10 kids it’s a lot. For a non-working household you can receive about $35,000 per year. For a working household or one on disability, you can receive up to $70,000 in benefits plus housing

Concerns about Big Tech's capex plans are ballooning in tandem with these companies' spending ambitions. Key question for today's reports from MSFT & GOOG: what's the bar in markets for enough revenue/earnings to justify this increase in spend. A great chart from @drbcurtis.

The Broadcom deal landed the same day Anthropic filed its S-1, and the same day Meta launched its $95 billion offering (upside to $97.5 billion). Add SpaceX closing its $40 billion Nvidia chip lease with Apollo, and Monday's AI capital call came to roughly TWO HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS IN ONE DAY
The first lien, which Broadcom is supporting in its massive $63BN SPV, the biggest AI deal on record, is about $43.5 billion, or 69% of the total. In other words, more than two-thirds of the biggest AI debt deal on record is effectively guaranteed by the vendor.

I was asked by someone yesterday why AI-related stocks have generally continued to perform so well in the market, despite all kinds of concerns about ROI, profitability, etc. of the industry. It's cause of charts like this. Just look at the difference between 2025 and 2026

It's tempting to think the fall in the Euro is about France, but that's not the case. The Euro started its fall on Sep. 10, which is when the Saudi East-West pipeline was attacked and oil started spiking. As soon as oil prices fall, the Euro will recover. robinjbrooks.substack.com/p/…

Republicans in Georgia historically lose the early vote and win the election day vote, making up the difference. We are down today by 110,000 votes. Unless you want Georgia run like California and New York, get yourself to the polls and vote. @GaRepublicans

Bombshell Docs Revealing Ilhan Omar's Looming Charges LEAKED— Everything Just Got Darker... The DHS memo shows Ilhan is under criminal and civil investigation for false statements on passport applications and falsely claiming U.S. citizenship. The investigation started over eight months ago. Homeland Security Investigations asked the State Department for certified, unredacted copies of every passport application she has ever filed, plus all supporting documents that identify her parents. The memo states she may also be subject to civil denaturalization. It's over for Ilhan Nur Said Elmi.

In C-suites & beyond, much of the focus now is on the ratio of employees/AI agents inside companies For workers, buyout offers should act as a warning shot…a sign that more cost cuts are likely to follow, if companies can't reach cost-savings goals now. wsj.com/business/microsoft-j…

MMT tells you a monetarily sovereign nation can issue all the currency/debt it wants and nothing will happen, claiming that currency and market volatility can easily be eliminated by cancelling the capital account. This nonsense can only be promoted by someone that does not understand that the currency collapse and creditworthiness slump are driven by domestic citizens and savers rejecting the local currency; it is not an evil conspiracy of foreign investors. Furthermore, no nation is monetarily sovereign. It always depends on demand. Try to force use or restrict flow, and the currency is worth nothing. And local citizens are the first to reject an increasingly worthless currency issued by an irresponsible government. You are welcome

Javier Blas sees a long Iran war stalemate. Washington thinks it can live with $100 oil. Tehran thinks it can outlast US pressure. But if inventories keep falling, prices must eventually rise. The petroleum system—not political preferences—may set the clock. bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

This is eye-opening. Europe’s share of global tech R&D has collapsed from 23% in 2005 to just 8% today, while the US has climbed to 62% and China has risen from near zero to 15%. South Korea now outspends Germany, France, the UK, and Italy combined in tech R&D. Yep, you read that right. This is the predictable result of policy choices that systematically favor control and redistribution over growth. Layered regulation, data rules, AI restrictions, labor rigidities, and precautionary frameworks, raises the cost and slows the pace of turning ideas into products, forcing companies to spend scarce resources on compliance rather than experimentation. High taxation and expansive redistributive systems extract capital that would otherwise fund private R&D and risk-taking, while shrinking the after-tax reward for building something new and scaling it. The broader left-leaning mindset that prioritizes equality of outcome over dynamism treats entrepreneurial success as something to be managed, taxed, or shared rather than unleashed and rewarded. Places that protect the returns to innovation and keep barriers low continue to pull ahead, attracting talent and capital that Europe increasingly loses. Europe’s relative decline is the cumulative outcome of treating dynamism as a problem to be regulated rather than the engine of prosperity. Without a shift toward lighter rules, lower burdens on enterprise, and greater tolerance for unequal outcomes from unequal effort, the gap will keep widening, and Europe will become an open-air museum for wealthy Americans and Asians.

🚨 WOW! Santa Ana, California councilmember Thai Viet Phan just ADMITTED that ONE-THIRD of her entire city is ILLEGAL. She wants the undocumented residents to VOTE and is pushing legislation to make it happen.“ Nearly one in three adults in Santa Ana cannot vote… a large number of our residents are undocumented… allowing noncitizen residents to participate in our government makes our city safer.” They don’t have a voice BECAUSE THEY AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. The residents already REJECTED it. Now send ICE to Santa Ana and DEPORT THEM ALL. 🇺🇸
HOLY CR*P 🚨 Santa Ana California Councilmember Thai Viet Phan admits that ONE THIRD OF THE ENTIRE CITY IS ILLEGAL She says she wants the 1/3 of the city that’s undocumented immigrants to be able to vote and is proposing legislation “Nearly one in three adults in Santa Ana cannot vote — the reality is that a large number of our residents are undocumented, are paying taxes, do work in our communities — People don't feel represented by their government locally and federally. It's clear, or one of the reasons is because they're not allowed to vote — I think that is the most American thing to do, is to say that everybody who lives here, who cares about this community, has a voice. And by allowing noncitizen residents — to be able to participate in our government makes our city safer, makes our city more vibrant, and makes our communities stronger” They don’t have a voice BECAUSE THEY AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE Notice she specially said undocumented. Meaning they are not just noncitizens, they are people without status. They do not have a green card, they are not here on a Visa. Undocumented means ILLEGAL A council member literally just admitted 1/3 of her city is ILLEGAL Luckily the legislation to allow the noncitizens to vote was rejected by residents Deport them all. We need ICE in Santa Ana, California

The dollar price of gold is down to that trend line which @Ole_S_Hansen has highlighted. But gold priced in euros is not yet there. So what do you do if the dollar price breaks the line, but the euro price does not? And interestingly, the yen price has already broken that line. Note that this is a philosophical question, and I do not have a great answer. This is a big problem with doing TA on gold prices. Which currency's chart does one use? The same problem exists for charts of oil prices, or really, any global commodity. And the problem operates not just on sloping trend lines but also on static price levels. A prior high or low could "break" as support on one currency, but not on another. What does one do? (Again, a philosophical question.)
Holding the line: Gold trades higher, near USD 4,050 ahead of today's FOMC meeting, having rebounded from key technical support around USD 3,970. The tug of war between short-term momentum sellers and longer-term accumulators continues, with bulls taking some comfort from the latest recovery and the market's ability to defend this important level. However, in my view, a sustained break above USD 4,230 is needed to improve the technical outlook and trigger short covering, potentially attracting renewed demand from leveraged funds that have been net sellers for several weeks. Until then, the recovery remains vulnerable to renewed selling pressure, particularly if the Fed delivers a more hawkish message than expected. Beyond the immediate Fed reaction, the direction of US real yields and the dollar will remain important drivers, while underlying demand from longer-term investors continues to provide a counterweight to speculative selling. For now, USD 3,970 and USD 4,230 define the key levels to watch for the next directional move.
