But if MBBS doctors don't work even for 5 hours, they know that lives will be lost

The relationship between vijay and hia voters is master-slave. He doesn't need to thank them or treat them as humans. He knows this and uses this to fullest.
Vijay missed an opportunity to thank the voters. More importantly, he missed the chance to deliver a gracious victory speech. It has been three days since the counting, and we now have a situation where the potential Chief Minister has pressed the mute button.
Even one appeal to the public to support good governance would have put pressure on parties to make way for TVK. A conciliatory signal to the Centre and warm wishes to the other parties could have cleared the path for his ascendance.
Contrast this with M. K. Stalin. He put out a well-drafted tweet and went around thanking voters in a seat he lost. Through small gestures, he regained some lost goodwill.
Vijay has been blessed with a great deal of good fortune and many golden opportunities. He must make use of them without appearing entitled.

CPIM and VCK leaders wanted written assurances from Vijay on the following factors
1. No support in future to NDA parties in the future - Vijay was ok !
2. No support for PM Shri 1 and NEP - Vijay said he cannot commit !
3. No lottery and gambling in Tamilnadu - Vijay refused to accept the same !
