This was not me, but I definitely add this kind of thing to every electronic I design. Not like anyone will ever find it (the battery ones I added people probably will I guess) but it just brings me joy anyway 🤷♂️
When making your holiday Rum Cake, there’s no better way to spice up your holiday dinner than by using Malört instead of rum.
Hot take (totally unrelated to this meeting I'm currently suffering through):
If you're tasked with creating the companies goal / mission statement and you cant come up with anything other than a dollar value, I don't want to work with you.
Alright y'all; I'm being called on to teach scouts about computers again and need fun project ideas. I'm funding this all out of pocket and theres 17 kids this time, so I need the total hardware cost to be around $5-6 or less per kit.
Anyone got any fun ideas for 7-8 year olds!?
Yo wait what. This looks awesome!
new goal: score an invite to one of @sherrod_im's parties.
Replying to @jeffzwang
It is super cheap and easy to set up a Photo Booth. If you do video calls for work, you can probably set one up with stuff you already have and the software is free on Mac. I have them at all my parties and they're super popular.
I love this.
I once had a boss who would tell me regularly "The goal is to automate everything so we can have slack open on one screen and just play halo on the other all day because there's nothing left to worry about."
I still try to work towards that same goal each day.

Despite the number of times I've played through it, I've still only actually beaten Omega Weapon once.
Chatting with relaymoth about designing tessellations for custom fabric and he sent me a YouTube link of techniques. I clicked it and the video loaded.
Like, the actual video he described.
Not Rick Astley. Not malware. Just tessellations.
WTF?
Y'all remember back in the day when bands would ship out pre-orders early so that they would arrive on the release day? Now pre-ordering vinyl feels like a punishment since you have to wait even longer than everyone else...
I grew up in the PNW and always thought y'all was just some weird shit wannabe cowboys said.
Then I moved to the south and realized that @Jun34u_sec absolutely hit the nail on the head: it's the perfect gender neutral way to address a group!
And the tweet of the year award goes toooooo...
I know another guy who did this.
but then he just used it to make dumb stickers for DEFCON and never actually bothered to make any effort to make money off of it and so now its just an IRL shitposting device.
(spoilers: it's me. im the guy who did that.)
Hey @FrameworkPuter ... if my post gets 10k likes, can you guys send me a semi beast mode hoodie?
I'd buy one myself but y'all don't sell hoodies (yet)
