Can you get the word out and convince voters not to elect Diana Chan McNally. She doesn’t get along with anyone with different views.

From personal experience, I found Diana Chan McNally very discriminatory. As a disabled senior illegally evicted from my apartment, I raised the issue of the number of immigrants, people of colour, white people and disabled people in Toronto shelters. She blocked me. In my experience, most disabled shelter residents I’ve encountered are white. The discrimination against disabled residents and the ignorance of shelter staff are unlike anything I’ve seen before.

I have received some useful feedback that the some of the slides could do with being visible for a bit longer. Therefore, please find attached "Everything you need to know about ME/CFS in under 8 Minutes." Exact same video, just at slower speed.

Stop trying to justify or excuse discrimination on the basis of disability. Disability discrimination is bigotry.

I just spoke to an 8th-semester medical student. Not a SINGLE class on ME/CFS. A neurological disease affecting potentially 70 MILLION people worldwide, yet future doctors aren’t even taught about it. This isn’t just an educational gap. It’s a medical scandal.

"This has been neglected like nothing else " . . . Also the way health professionals have chosen to treat us is a massive scandal. Disbelieved and abandoned
BBC Sport approached @number10gov for a response to my letter to @andyburnham . The @DHSCgovuk responded and unfortunately this statement isn’t anything we didn’t already know. There are also fundamental inaccuracies within it. Please also bear with me; I’ve had an extremely large amount of messages and I’m operating with a very limited capacity. @Ed_Miliband @tessamunt @JoPlattLeigh @KatieFalkingham @BBCSport @BBCNews @UKLabour @ThereForME_UK @YvetteCooperMP

Discrimination against disabled people isn’t benign or reasonable. Ableism is devaluing and dehumanizing.

NEW: An Ontario cancer patient is taking the Ford government to court for refusing to fund a U.S. treatment that could save her life. "People are just being told to die." The government pointed to cost savings as one of the reasons it is limiting which patients can receive funding for out-of-country treatments. Story: thetrillium.ca/news/health/p…

Laura Hillenbrand “Fatigue is what we experience, but it is what a match is to an atomic bomb.” #ME #pwme
If we could drop the word ‘fatigue’ from being the leading definition of #ME it would make a huge difference to the whole perception of this illness. People don’t die or take their own lives because they are fatigued. The name CFS was a political decision, a very dark decision.

At the Harvard/MIT Martinos Center, Dr. Mario Murakami and the VanElzakker lab are using ultrahigh-resolution 7T fMRI to understand how changes to cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow in people with Craniocervical Instability can produce a phenotype similar to that seen in ME/CFS and other neuroimmune conditions. The brain relies on cerebrospinal fluid to carry out metabolic waste that builds up during normal physiological processes, acting as a “garbage disposal,” as explained by Murakami. Changes to healthy CSF flow may result in the buildup of these metabolites in the brain. Said Murakami, “There is a compromised structure of CSF flow in CCI [patients] compared with healthy controls, which means that maybe this is part of the mechanisms which drive the symptoms—the brain fog, the pain, the fatigue, the autonomic dysfunction.”

Yeah, I’ve done that repeatedly over the years, and I collapsed and somebody has to come and pick me up. Eventually, I started carrying B12 shots with me to give a shot to myself and get myself home and always make sure I had cab fare and I certainly stopped walking through a fucking field, which I did at Blue Mountain in the 90s
I felt pressured to push through this illness and “walk my way out of it” so I decided to do 10,000 steps and I ended up crying in a field and had to get picked up. I was then in PEM for a solid 3 months from that walk alone. Don’t listen to Drs on here telling you to exercise.

"If we look at ME..we've known about it quite clearly for over 100 years. To step back & acknowledge they could end up with this horrific disease...we don't want to imagine we treated patients poorly for that long...science has had its eyes closed..to post-viral illnesses.."
