Apologies. My notes said 1000 practices. It’s 1000 people. That’s v different to 1000 practices. That would pro rata be 3000 this year. Thats about 0.008% of patients seen by my est. hmm. Not flying off the shelf then!
Replying to @dentistryshowCS
@dentistryshowCS very good yesterday - Thanks to @JasonWong12 for update and sorry for query about targets - just need to get clarified! Notes attached - hope this is fair reflection

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

I think @ZackPolanski’s @BBCr4today interview was perhaps the worst I’ve ever heard from a party leader. If you have to dodge (repeatedly) the question of whether you accept Israel’s right to exist (recognised in international law, following the horrors of the holocaust), then you should never have any place near the levers of power.
cottages.com/cottages/cannon…. I have some short notice bookings available in November and lots of availability in 2027 - @cannondalehouse
April 2025 I bought 2200L of oil for £1120. I’ve just bought 1000L for the same price. 115% rise. The reason ? Utter incompetence from Trump. I am a constant critic of political Islam so certainly no Iran defender but Trump got this fundamentally wrong.

Andy Burnham wants to take Britain back to the 1970s, a time of more government control, more trade union control and no economic growth. There is a reason our country took a different course after that decade.
Nothing Burnham announced today will do anything to fix Britain’s long-term problems. He had no plan to fix our stagnant economy. No plan to fund defence. No plan to sort out the spiralling welfare bill, beyond more government schemes.
His proposal to change the triple lock is already falling apart under scrutiny, and it won’t generate enough savings to fund a nationalised care system for another two decades, which means more tax rises are inevitable.
Britain does not need to recreate the politics of the 1970s. It needs a government prepared to take the difficult decisions, back those who work and build businesses, and look confidently to the future.
Good you meeting key stakeholders. Just be careful believing them all. Meeting @wesstreeting on day 1 achieved nothing. I feel so many people believed in @UKLabour and have been left perhaps questioning their judgement ? Same old tax and spend party I’m afraid reform

Ed Miliband’s photo-op with Abbas Araghchi, taken in isolation, will speak volumes to the oppressed Iranian people
@JakeWSimons argues why 'our Foreign Secretary has gifted the despotic Iranian regime a propaganda win' 👇

This is so depressing.
A Green Party election leaflet from Holborn and St Pancras wrapped in a foreign flag, boasting endorsements from The Muslim Vote and Camden Muslim Alliance.
This is just naked sectarianism.

Interesting times at @ManCity who have almost no debt, have poured hundreds of millions into regenerating their local area and have the best youth system in the country so they must be punished by the PL.
@ManUtd sacked half their employees , racked up a £1 billion + debt , funnelled their profits to the Cayman Islands and get to set the PL spending rules.
Funny old game as Greavsie used to say.
Entering the Country illegally you get a hotel. Join a protest (and of course not acceptable to throw anything at Police)and get jail. We are conditioned and policed to accept that we cannot stop the boats and please don’t try to or else. As Thomas has also found out
More information emerging about the conviction of Del Somerville (jailed for two years for throwing a plastic bottle and telling police officers to 'F**k off' at a protest against the small boats).
The court heard that Somerville had played a relatively minor role at the incident, had tried to pull another protester away when he confronted police, actually lived at the marina rather than travelled there for the purpose of protesting, and that the plastic bottle he threw was 'small' or 'empty'.
It's impossible, in the context of wider sentencing policy in this country, to avoid the conclusion that the sanction handed down to Somerville amounts to two-tier justice.
Important June change to NHS dental reconciliation: the second 96% test is now based on overall UDA delivery, including urgent-care credits, rather than a separate residual/non-RNUT UDA pot. RNUT still remains a separate minimum requirement.
Correct contract set up imperative
I have worked through one contract in detail. The provider total appears corrected, but the audit trail is poor: historic months are not simply restated and clinician-level figures do not fully reconcile to the provider allocation
