Let me be clear, I don't give a flying fuck if you are wearing a poppy or not.
If you are, then wear it for the right reason.
If you aren't, or are wearing a different colour one, then that's fine, it is your choice.
If you are being an arsehole about it though, fuck off.

ITV’s Reform exposé is alright, but I think loads will see it and say, ‘I don’t care I’m still voting for them.’ What ITV needs to do is get footage of Reform Cllrs visiting mosques, arranging Pride displays in libraries, and giving care packs to asylum seekers. That’ll do it.

Since the attack on the Russian data centre. The traffic for the ‘patriot party’ is mysteriously off a cliff

She is speaking shite.
I never once received a lesson teaching me to hate this country.
My mother is a headteacher and hating Britain is certainly NOT on her curriculum.
The people who are running this country down are the so-called patriots who tell you this country is broken while shagging flags.
If it is broken, it’s broken by them.

Tomorrow morning’s diary. At this rate I’ll have done 115 interviews by the end of next week.
I don’t ask for a payment, it’s not right to benefit. Instead ask for a donation to @samaritans who do brilliant work listening to people in distress. Suicide is still the biggest killer of men under 50 and women under 40 in the UK.

The UK has not fallen; the far right just like to say it has.

Reform would turn Britain into a basket case, Tim. There’d be racism, incompetence, cruelty and corruption on a mind-blowing scale.

To be clear, the attack on Parkrun by anti-trans activists has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with fairness in sport, or placings, or any bullshit that they put out, it is fundamentally about Parkrun being a community event accepting trans people in the community as trans people. 1/
I’m no former Olympian, but I expect fairness at parkrun.
My best time wouldn’t be a patch on Mara Yamauchi’s, but I was First Lady at my parkrun once - and I’d have been fuming if a man claiming to be a woman had cheated me out of that placing. Or pushed me down a few places.
I’ve been involved in parkrun for more than a decade - as a runner, volunteer and now an event director.
And I have never met a parkrunner who doesn’t care about their time or placing, regardless of age, ability or fitness.
That is just as true at the back of the pack as it is at the front.
If nobody cared about times or placings, they wouldn’t turn up every Saturday morning for a timed event with a start line, a finish line and numbered finishing positions.
They wouldn’t register for a barcode so they could receive a result.
And parkrun wouldn’t publish those results every week, in finishing order, complete with times and positions.
You can try to rewrite the parkrun story to suit your agenda, but the “it’s only a fun run” argument is nonsense.
Enjoyment and fairness are not opposites.
Women deserve fair sport - at every level.

Women like this are ruining women's sports. Why should women be cheated out of finishing first because professionals choose to pretend to be regular people so that they can steal finishing places? Please donate to my fund to ban professionals from parkrun*
Did I enjoy parkrun today? 💯
Was I pleased with my PB? 💯
Am I angry that I had to witness a man finishing ahead of every genuine woman in the female category? 💯
