Feels like SaaS is slowly getting unbundled from the UI. CRM/ERP data + permissions + business logic stay underneath, while the actual “app” becomes something generated around whatever the user is trying to do in that moment. That’s a pretty fundamental shift in what software even is tbh

You own PC and AI - make them work together as one entity please.

infinite saas factory sounds like a threat to procurement

Gut take, not a forecast: most of us rent 40 features to use 3. An infinite factory means you finally build the 3 and stop paying for the 37.

> We are entering a new era of truly “personal” software, where you can easily tailor the apps you use to the way you work, but stay connected to the systems of record your business already runs on, preventing fragmentation of your most important systems As much as I believe this to be true, the returns for a personal software is linear. Diffusion amongst the entire organization and moving all together instead of alone creates exponential gains, which is a technological miracle we can't neglect for long

You mention that agents are pushing GitHub but walk right past mentioning any improvements to the service.

Why are these promoted and released when they are not able to be accessed by paid enterprise users? Love the progress you are making with copilot, however this drives my clients crazy when they go to access the new features and they don’t show up. Copilot then gets put in the {this app doesn’t work pile}.

Vice President JD Vance announces the suspension of the PERM Program for Microsoft: "Thanks to an ongoing investigation, we have decided to suspend the PERM program for Microsoft, which means they will no longer be able to take those H1-Bs and apply for permanent resident status within the United States of America. Now our message to Microsoft and to any other foreign or domestic corporation is quite simple. We obviously want you to thrive in the United States of America. We want people to invest in the United States of America, particularly the American technology sector. We’re the biggest boosters of your industry. We want you to continue to grow and to employ a lot of people, but we want you to employ American workers. And so our message to Microsoft is, you’re great American company, but you’ve got to hire great American workers. You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."

Any comment on your anti-American hiring practices and the recent PERM ban you got Microsoft into?

Oh shit bro look what you did now 😭😂
🚨 BREAKING: VP JD Vance, flanked by Stephen Miller and AG Blanche, just walked out and announced a HISTORIC CRACKDOWN on H-1B and foreign visa fraud — SPECIFICALLY exposing Microsoft for laying off 6,000 US workers, despite hiring 6,300 H1B visas and 3,000 green cards WOW! VANCE: "NO company has abused this more than Microsoft." "H1B is how they get in...a PERM program is how they STAY. After a couple cycles of H1B, companies apply for a PERM to let them stay indefinitely." This is huge! The PERM program is being suspended for Microsoft. The days of taking advantage of Americans are OVER!!

How many more Indians are you hiring on H1B as you fire Americans?

Weren't you the one who claimed SaaS would be dead? How come you've now come uo with SaaS Infinte factory? Good read though, love how software and AI are going hand-in-hand 👍

Well apparently you do a lot of visa fraud as well. Hope backstabbing Americans was worth it for you

You have plundered what SHOULD be an American powerhouse company. May God gut your organization, criminally prosecute the traitorous officers and managers, and put a White Christian man in charge.

The point about systems of record matters a lot in ecommerce too. Every agent a store adds reads from the same customer list, so messy data stops being one bad spreadsheet and gets copied into every tool at once.

The idea of building new SaaS modules just by describing them in Copilot is really interesting. That could change how a lot of internal tools get made.

A system of record keeps the data in one place. It doesn't say who owns the software people prompt into existence around it. If apps get modified to fit each person, you have a variant per person to review, support, and retire when the author leaves. "Governed" can mean the data, the code, or both. Where can I find which ?

personal software is the right call. feels like the next step after "around the work" is around the person
