I was "HeToo-ed, 10 years ago but as a *junior* *untenured* *adjunct professor at UT Dallas in 2016 (before I later got tenured). I didnt have the wealth, prestige & position that @DMSabatini did at MIT. Still fought back & won, but without @BillAckman giving me a $25 million dollar parachute. That’s MIT based biologist Dr. Kristin Knouse being asked about text messages she exchanged with Dr. David Sabatini, a world renowned former MIT biomedical scientist.
Sabatini was once considered a potential Nobel Prize candidate for his breakthroughs in understanding cancer and aging.
The deposition is part of the evidence I reviewed in a defamation and work interference lawsuit Sabatini brought against Knouse.
Sabatini watched his career, his lab, and his reputation collapse under the weight of campus protests and social media attacks after Knouse accused him of coercing her into a sexual relationship that lasted more than a year, according to court documents.

Problem I saw with Flavio is, he has what I call boarding school face aka "Nepo face". You see this often with children of wealthy powerful charismatic fathers. Because they've never done anything hard, they are very often soft and the best they can hope for is to maintain their parent's empire if structures around them are favourable, but they aren't fighters
The opposite of boarding school face is "Mafia face", these people may be wealthy elites, but you can see the grit and power just by looking at them. To rise in a revolutionary environment you need Mafia face, complimented with intelligence and charm to win over the people
Flavio's father Jair Bolsonaro has Mafia face. Trump has Mafia face, same with Putin, Lula, Orban, Netanyahu has it too
A great example is Tsar Nicholas II who was overthrown by the Bolsheviks. His father Alexander III was a badass but Nicholas II had Nepo face, and his softness ultimately lost the empire
All the Latin American leaders who led in chaotic revolutionary environments, like Chavez, Pinochet, Castro had mafia face. Milei, sorry to say, does not have it
Flavio can't lead in this type of environment, his only hope is to exist in an environment where things are going well and he is being propped up

It sure looks like a major plot point in Dune 3 is a rivalry and showdown between Paul and Chani (she looks to be part of the conspiracy). That’s something utterly and totally divorced from the source material, but entirely aligned with the boss babe agenda of The Message (TM).

In the book, Chani and Paul are still super duper in love and trying to have kids. A huge chunk of the novel is Paul trying to find a way to live happily ever after with Chani and have kids.
Now they’ve turned it into Chani becoming his mortal enemy who plots his assassination.
